IPL Skin Tightening
IPL skin tightening is a procedure that is gaining in popularity. It offers individuals a non-surgical, non-invasive, facial rejuvenation alternative to surgery. Most people assume that in order to tighten loose skin, they have to go under the knife. While that may have been true at one time, with recent advances in technology, that is no longer the case. Procedures such as ILP (Intense Pulsed Light) tightening can be used for this purpose.
IPL skin tightening can significantly improve the look and feel of the skin. In addition to tightening loose skin, the procedure can also be used to smooth out wrinkles. The result is firmer and more youthful looking skin.
Pulsed light is effective on various parts of the body. People may opt to have IPL skin tightening can do so on various parts of their body, for instance their face, legs, buttocks and stomach.
How Does IPL Skin Tightening Work?
IPL skin tightening works by heating up the collagen that lies beneath a person’s skin. Laser pulsing regenerates the underlying collagen so that overtime, skin continues to tighten and improve in appearance. The end-result is tighter, firmer skin.
How Soon Will I See Results?
A person should notice a difference in their appearance immediately following IPL treatment. Their skin should continue to tighten for at least a few months.
How Many Treatments are Required?
Most people will require between two and three treatments, which will typically be done about 30 days apart.
Who is a Good Candidate for IPL Treatment?
Not every person, with sagging skin will be a good candidate for IPL treatment. People with severely sagging skin may not get satisfactory results using this particular method. Surgical skin tightening might be a better option for those with a severe amount of excessive skin.
What Can I Expect During the Recovery Process?
One of the best things about the IPL tightening procedure is there is no downtime. Because it is not a surgical, there is no significant recovery time. In fact, a person can go about their normal routine immediately following the procedure.
Are There Any Risks?
Some patients may experience a mild amount of pain, particularly stinging and/or burning, though it’s typically not severe. The treated area may also turn red for a short period of time. Women are often able to conceal the redness with makeup. Uncommon but, additional, potential side effects include blistering that can result in scarring and slight skin pigment changes.

Clep Study Guide: Preparing For a Clep Test
Before beginning anything else, you must realize that CLEP tests are not a shortcut around a semester of lectures, classes, and homework. When you get this notion out of your head, you’ll find it much easier to tackle the work you have ahead of you.
The first phase of your CLEP test preparation should be to evaluate your current knowledge of the subject. The best way to do this is by taking a practice exam, available from The College Board or in many CLEP test prep books. Alternatively, you may simply look at what the test will cover, and determine what areas you will need to focus your study. Whichever route you take, this step is very important, since it allows you to prioritize your time in a way that does not repeat what you already know.
Next, you need to collect materials that will help you understand the areas you have not yet studied. CLEP test prep books are an excellent place to start, but reading an actual college textbook will help you to gain a deeper understanding of the subject. And then of course, there are dozens of internet websites that will provide you with specific and detailed information that may not be in textbooks.
As you are studying using these materials, periodically take the practice CLEP exams. This way, you will not over-study facts that you are not required to know for the test. On more than one occasion, I spent hours studying detailed information that the real CLEP exam never even touched! Avoid my mistake by taking practice CLEP exams every couple days.
Finally, how long should you prepare for your CLEP exam? In my experience, the optimal preparation length is somewhere between 10 days and 2 weeks. If you study less than that, you may not know enough facts. Studying more than that may be useless, and waste time.
Follow this format as you prepare for your upcoming CLEP exam, and you should do well!
